We will direct you to the right service, provide support for e-services, and answer general questions about public services. The service is not intended for taking up official matters with authorities – instead, we will guide you to the correct authorities.

Ask for advice and guidance

Do you need information on public services or help in using them? Call a service advisor at Public Service Info or send your question electronically. You can also use the electronic form to give feedback on the website or Public Service Info.

Call 0295 000 (Mon–Fri 8 am to 9 pm, Sat 9 am to 3 pm). The service is closed on Sundays and on public holidays.

If, for example, you have a speech impediment or hearing impairment, you can send your question as a text message to 13145. Please type Kn at the start of your question.

You will pay only your operator’s local network, mobile call, or text message fee. The service itself is free.

Often e-services are the most convenient way to access public services. Below you will find links to the English-language websites of key authorities.

Your municipality may also offer e-services – check the municipality’s website.

Unsure what authority deals with your issue? You can search for services by topic on the Suomi.fi website, and find services for entrepreneurs on the Enterprise Finland website.

Would you prefer to contact someone on the phone or face to face? Use the A-Z index and service map on the Suomi.fi website to find contact information for public sector services.

A total of 159 answers came in to the Public Service Info's  customer survey which was executed during November and December 2014. We thank all of you who have participated!

The people who have used the service (40 % of the respondents) gave very good grade for the service, i.e 4,26 on a scale of 1 to 5. Most of the people who have used the service were very or relatively happy with the queuing time, quality and smoothness of the service and the advisors' service attitude.

85 % of the people who have not used the service can think of using it in the future. Therefore the service is seen as a useful one. The open answers acknowledged founding of the service. Most criticism was given to the visibility of the service and the telephone number which is difficult to remember.
