Information on a remote connection with the Public Service Info

The Public Service Info is testing a new method of serving with the use of a remote connection. So far the service works only by the Chrome.

You can contact a service advisor with a remote connection from your computer, tablet computer, or a similar device. Remote connection is useful when, for instance,

  • wishing to share a view of a website or electronic document with the service advisor.
  • wishing for a service advisor's help in the use of an electronic form.

The service is temporarily unavailable

Service hours: Mon–Fri 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., Sat 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The service is closed on Sundays and public holidays.

To establish a remote connection, you will need a computer or a device with

  • a microphone,
  • speakers or headphones, and
  • a webcam.

When using the connection for the first time, let the software be installed on your device. Unfortunately, for the time being, you cannot establish a remote connection with devices using the iOS operating system intended for mobile devices (e.g. iPad).
